Did you breastfeed your babies?
How long did you BF and how old were they when you weaned them?

Darn, I lost my post. I hit something and lost it.

Ok, try again. My first son was on the bottle. Second son was premature and was tongue tied so he had to have his tongue snipped. He was not that great a nurser so when he wouldn't nurse I would pump and give him the milk that way. He took from the bottle much easier so I kept pumping for him until he was about 3 months old to give him the good start he needed.

My third and last son was a good nurser. Unfortunately it only lasted about 2 1/2 months because he sprouted two teeth at a time. Once they started they never quit coming in. It was a bit uncomfortable for me so he ended up on the bottle.

I know this is an older post, but since my twins were born I have been breastfeeding.Like Darlene I pump alot.Since my boys were in the nicu for two months I had to pump until they were able to nurse.Even now they really dont physically breastfeed all the time.I pump and give them there milk in a bottle.I have to fortify my milk so they can get extra calories.I will most likely wean by the time they are 6 months. Smile

Congratulations Ashley on your twin boys! I found it hard enough to nurse one. I can't imagine two! Good for you for nursing them.

I was only able to nurse for 4 months. She was not a good nurser and we had too many problems. Sad

Well you still gave them a very good start. Its not easy nursing but its better for the baby if you can do it.

I lost all my baby weight by the time I came home from the hospital with my first two but wow, my last one was a different story. I still tell him today its all his fault I never lost my weight. He keeps saying "I guess I am going to hear this the rest of my life." I say yes you are. LOL Poor kid.
